You don't have to be a Veteran to support a Veteran
Legion membership is open to all Canadian citizens and citizens of Allied nations aged 18 and older.
Ordinary membership
This includes currently serving and retired military personnel, reservists, RCMP members, police officers, Canadian Coast Guard, and others as outlined in the General By-Laws.
Associate membership
Includes family members such as parents, spouses, widows, widowers, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews of individuals eligible for Ordinary membership.
Affiliate voting membership
Includes Canadian citizens or Commonwealth subjects from Allied nations who do not qualify for Ordinary or Associate membership.
Affiliate non-voting membership
This includes currently serving and retired military personnel, reservists, RCMP members, police officers, Canadian Coast Guard, and others as outlined in the General By-Laws.
Free first-year for Veterans, their families and graduating Cadets
Legion Welcome Programs for Veterans, their families and Cadets
Serving and retired CAF and RCMP, their eligible family members and graduating Sea, Army or Air Cadets who have not yet joined the Legion receive their first year of membership free!
